My first eBay bid…
Posted by weyshi on March 11, 2008
After knowing that eBay exists for eons, I have won my first bid today. As you know that my interested in tenor drumming is building, I have been searching for stuff related to tenor. I have registered myself into eBay 2 days ago, after coming across someone selling Learn Pipe Band Drumming DVD.
I managed to won the bid using £14.50. The DVD plus postage cost me a total of £20.50. I really hope that after spending about SDG$200 in buying tenor drumming resources, I can help to form a superior bass section in 12th Singapore Company (Barker Road) Pipe Band.

I am currently playing in 2 pipe bands in Singapore.
1. The Boys’ Brigade, 12th Singapore Company (Barker Road) Pipe Band or 12BR Pipe Band in short – where I started out as a piper and now manages it.
2. Merlion Pipes & Drums – one of the few professional bands in Singapore.
I started out as a piper in 1996, which means this is my 12th year. I really love it too!!
I just started learning tenor. Had my first official tenor practice with Tyler Fry’s CDROM with a few other enthusiastic learners in the 12BR pipe band. I have always thought that a pipe band is incomplete without the mid section.
Do you have any valuable resources?? like scores or tutorials to share?? =)
