God Knows…

When you feel that you are upset, when you feel uncertain, when you feel lost or your future is bleak, this is the poem for you…
GOD KNOWS
And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year:
“Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown
And he replied:
“Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.”

1 Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.
2 In vain you rise early and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.
